She Said | #NaPoWriMo2020 | Prompt 2

Prompt 2: The earth folds and as it does, it speaks to you in a poem.

Crumbling like wilted flower in remorse
She said, I think it's the end of my course
Energy can't be destroyed they say
She said, so I can change forms, if I may
Bewildered, please tell me how to save you, I cried
She said, only if you let me go, we shall meet aside
I wish I could unlearn syllables, not understand her
She said, now is the time to sensibly concur
I'm sorry is all I could gather
She said, wishing 'twas changed behaviour rather
If you can hear me now, get your acts together
She said, within my folds you will witness today
Sins on the earth, annihilation of those who can't speak
She said, universe will weep for only few who wanted to seek
