Magic Mirror
Objects in this mirror are drifting farther
Locked eyes, inching away as I move
So I ask, Magic Mirror on the wall
Who's the farthest of them all?
Famed are the stories of sun and moon
Skies and the colossal galaxies
But hold, a strange mess I sense
Smiles can't hide away the pretense
Alas, it is thy soul, majesty
I'm afraid it's a miserable reality
Your chest reeks of rotten memories
Of days you kept yourself alive
Remember no amount of fake gets through me
Pain leaks from your broken shield of glee
Corpse-like now, are you even conscious?
Forgotten dreams, you were once ambitious
I should take offense, such a mockery
Even though I can't agree more
I haven't been myself for years alike
I've become exactly what I used to dislike
So I ask, Magic Mirror on the wall
Would you help me finally recall?
My morning giggles and breezy days
Soothing evenings and misty nights
Haste never let me pause but now I'll restore
Thank you Mirror, I want to love myself more
