The city sparkled and I thought for a moment

Citylights and buzz, creeping into me

The fancy lifestyle, the constant rarity of time

I thought and I asked myself, is this me?

A lane of white glowing opportunities

Dashing towards me, and then, blown away

A lane of red impending danger

Giving chills I'd never have imagined

Left, right and growing flux

I stand in the middle of the road

Perplexed to drain my brain into choosing

But choose any, and I'm smitten

Choose one and choose any for it to fall apart

Giving a little push to those perfect domino trails

The city sparkled and I thought for a moment

I shouldn't let the first domino trip
